| I have titled my genealogy site "Scavenger Hunt" because that is what is has become. There are many true researchers working on the same surnames as I am, and for the most part they are true researchers in this field. I make no pretense to be a researcher, but a scavenger, since most of the material I have posted here could not be possible without those who made their findings available to us all. There are a great many "cousins" to whom I owe nearly all that I have posted in these pages. Their generosity is beyond measure and I wish that I could acknowledge them each individually, I will try to mention you all on the relevant surname page(s) - to those of you I miss, please forgive me, let me know and I will make amends. | |||||||||||||||||||
